1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RemovesData ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RemovesData provides an AI-powered document redaction service that automatically identifies and removes personally identifiable information (PII) from uploaded documents. The Service processes documents in real-time and does not store uploaded files after processing.

3. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process the documents you submit.
• You must not use the Service for any illegal purposes.
• You are responsible for reviewing the redacted output to verify completeness and accuracy.
• You acknowledge that AI-based redaction may not catch 100% of sensitive information and you should verify results.

4. Data Processing

Documents are processed in memory and are not stored on our servers. We use third-party AI services (Anthropic) to perform the redaction. By using the Service, you consent to your document text being sent to these providers for processing. No data is retained after processing is complete.

5. Subscription & Payments

• Free tier users are limited to 5 documents per month.
• Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. RemovesData is not liable for any damages resulting from the use of the Service, including but not limited to incomplete redaction, data exposure, or loss of data. Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your documents. We claim no ownership over content you upload or the redacted output. The RemovesData brand, logo, and website design are our intellectual property.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
